Our Story

The MIDA Interiors Studio is the creative product of Missy Peck and Davina Cooke.

Having met during their time working in a highly respected design practice in Oxfordshire, they became firm friends, recognising in each other shared values and design principles.

With a genuine enthusiasm for contemporary, as well as traditional styles, they execute both confidently and with matchless elan. Their sophisticated sense of colour, proportion and appropriateness give their designs a sense of gravitas, vibrancy and timelessness which sets them apart.

Missy

Obtaining a BFA in Fine Art and Art History from Rosemont College in Philadelphia, USA, Missy’s career began in NYC and London, working for several AD 100 Design Firms.

It’s her experience in these top-tier firms, along with many years of living internationally, that give her a deep knowledge of design and cultural history to draw from.

Her work has been photographed for Country Homes & Interiors Magazine. Missy has also had the pleasure of being part of projects featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Veranda, Traditional Home and House Beautiful Magazine.

Davina

University was followed by a career in Business & Marketing, but a lifelong passion for interiors and design motivated a move into this field of work, starting with bathroom design.

These foundational years gained her vast experience in the design, application and construction of each project, working closely with specialist craftsmen and the building trade.

Managing a high-end showroom, gaining the accolade of finalist in the KBB Young Bathroom Designer of the Year industry award and with a drive to achieve more, Davina began work for a respected design practice specialising in period properties. Now approaching 25 years of experience, Davina possesses a wealth of knowledge, skill and style in all applications of interior design.

“We ended up with well thought out rooms that made good use of the space and worked well together. We were impressed with their professionalism and communication throughout and wouldn’t hesitate to use MIDA Interiors again in the future.”
